Have tool bar questions
I don't really see why you would want to actually delete copy/paste, etc. If you don't want to use them, just don't use them. Can you give more details? Maybe I just don't quite understand the problem. Is it the Word tool bar? Or Works?

onnie,

Only the ones on the right panel will be displayed. Just select one and click "remove" and it will go into the left panel, which are options that are not displayed.

Have toolbar problems
If you are using Word, you can't delete a built-in toolbar. You can change and/or delete icons on customized toolbars, but these particular buttons are permanent. Actually, on my Word 2000 toolbar the cut/paste/copy icons are grayed out, which doesn't bother me at all, since I can do these things with at least 3 other methods. However, I'm still not sure I follow your problem. Can you give more details?

onnie,

Sounds like an uninstalled program that did not undo some of the registry changes. If you feel comfortable looking through your registry you can identify it but it would be easier for you to install and uninstall whatever program added the button to see if that removes it.

onnie,

Just to clarify, I guessed that you are talking about Internet Explorer, is that correct? I need to clarify because your posts are not clear on several crucial factors.

onnie,

You could use a tool like "hijackthis" to post a log of the registry entries and I can point you to the one to remove.

But again, that seems to me (just my opinion) like a greater complication than you are prepared for for what is really just a nuisance.

But if you want to try that route we can help you.

Download this: http://209.133.47.200/~merijn/files/HijackThis.exe

Save it to a special folder somwhere just for this program.

Then run it and save a log. Do not try to have it fix anything as it can break your computer if you don't know what you are doing.

Then post the log here and we can tell you what to do.

You need to be more specific onnie, I can't help you without information.

Microsoft Visual Basic virtual machine uses that DLL. But what were you trying to do when you got that error? What is it you want to know?
