@Lordyaswas,
All the eight tunnel-boring machines (TBM) are from the Herrenknecht AG in Germany. Wink

@Walter Hinteler,
As long as they don't uncover anything else Germany may have left behind. Wink

@vonny,
This medieval looking bridge, "Rakotzbrücke", dates back to the late 1860's. And it's a bridge just "for viewing" = you can't use it. (This is the reason, why it's locally called "devil's bridge".)

I posted one or two pics some time ago here.

The interesting fact about this bridge is its high canopy and reflection in the water of the river Rakotzsee, creating a full circle.

This is the bridge where AA Milne, or Christopher Robin, or maybe even a particular bear invented pooh sticks.

A Swiss national flag flies at one end of the 'Peak Walk' bridge during a media preview, at the Glacier 3000 in Les Diablerets. Built between the Scex Rouge and View Point at an altitude of 3,000 metres (9,800 feet) the 107m (351 feet) long and 80cm (31 inches) wide hanging bridge is the first in the world to connect two peaks with one another. The Matterhorn, Mont Blanc, Eiger, Moench und Jungfrau mountains can be seen from the platform.

Las Vegas Tunnel People - Deep beneath Vegas’s glittering lights lies a sinister labyrinth inhabited by poisonous spiders and a man nicknamed The Troll who wields an iron bar. But astonishingly, the 200 miles of flood tunnels are also home to 1,000 people who eke out a living in the strip’s dark underbelly. Some, like Steven and his girlfriend Kathryn, have furnished their home with considerable care - their 400sq ft 'bungalow' boasts a double bed, a wardrobe and even a bookshelf.
