People cross the rope bridge over the Sementina valley during heavy fog near Monte Carasso, Southern Switzerland, on Sunday, its inaugural day. The 885 foot (270m) long pedestrian bridge spans the valley at a maximum height of 425 feet (130m) above ground.

@Lordyaswas,
As nice as the idea might be:

Parliament’s spending watchdog is to investigate why chancellor George Osborne decided to give £30m of taxpayers’ money to a deeply controversial garden bridge over the Thames.

Tourists walk along a precarious viewing bridge as they visit a tea plantation in Enshi, Hubei province, China.

@saab,
I'd have to be helicoptered out, maybe before even stepping onto it. I've balance issues as it is..

@saab,
How about this one - the new glass suspension bridge in China - tourists are tempted to dare to walk across it!

@saab,
Apparently you can feel the individual glass sections move as you walk across it - exciting, but ....

@timur,
Ah, I've been over that once - it's in the Big Sur area - in the evening on the way to Felton, sort of near Santa Cruz, in a hurry since we were late, underestimating how long it would take to get to the friends' place. Lovely area there at the bridge site.

@timur,
Love it, of course, though I usually crossed the Arno at P. Santa Trinita, was never there in Firenze more than six days in a row. This is causing me an occurrence of travelitis.
