What the law is where you are, depends on where exactly you are, and who is in charge of making the laws there.

However, any law that forbids inter-cultural dating will be seen by most of the world as backwards and unacceptable.

That does not mean such racist and discriminatory laws cannot exist in some places however.

No civilized place would have such a law.

What law? What country? My British mother was a full blood gipsy (both parents gipsy) and my British father was not and nobody sent them to jail when they married in 1946.

Also both sides of the family are very good friends and have been for 70 years.
