I get the following message on my screen:
"The Advance Sound System board is not responding properly. Run Set Up an reset your hardware configuration."
Can you please spell out, chapter line and verse, step by step how to do that?
Thank you ever so much.

Gee, I dunno ... the only "Advance Sound System Board" I know of, or could find any info on, is a Gameboy product, but that may just confirm I don't know everything

I gather your machine is saying the software for it is not properly installed. For a start, I would suggest you visit the website of your audio device's vendor and look for info related to that error message in their support pages, and perhaps also while there look for and download any updated drivers, software, or firmware that might be available.

You could try removing the device in device manager, then search for, find, and delete any files or folders pertaining to the product, then running the Setup or Install routine from the product's original setup disk or discs, or which you downloaded from the vendor's website, and rebooting.

For more specific help, what is your operating system, version, and update status, and specifically what is the brand, model, and function of the affected device?

Oh, and its up to you, but posting your email address on public forums is a great way to attract more spam than you care to deal with.
