@ehBeth,
@eh Beth yes that is funny u may ask if my support has been increased over 15 years... When I paid first three years of support my ex requested for a Increase every month or three(no kidding) social services apologized to me every time she did this because by law when a parent asked for a Increase they had to contact me, and I Had to show up for their appointment. This. Went on for roughly 3 years and finally social services said enough, and they made it mandatory other parent to pay $25 to ask for a Increase which finally stopped my ex having me in there every month or three. Now she ask for Increase every year or two... And like I mention I pay a ridiculous amount just because she claims she can not work. But the reality is she can and has been.

@Solstice47,
What were not hearing enough about here is the living condition through feedback from your son. Does he complain about the mother's behavior, or her drug and drinking. how does he feel about her level of fitness as a mother? What is the impact on his quality of life?

Would you want your son living with you and/or would he want that? Was there a custody battle along the way here?

@Solstice47,
The why the hell do you not try to end the matter by getting your child out of the situation???????

You by your words already have one child in your custody and a fifteen year old child should have a great deal of say with the the courts over which parent to live with.

Seems off hand a win for everyone but for your ex-wife.

@OmSigDAVID,
Well David after making one hell of an error in picking my first wife it took my knowing my second wife over twenty years before I was brave enough to place my happiness and well being into the hands of another woman.

I used to tell people that I would must prefer skydiving without a parachute then to getting remarried and I did indeed fell that way.

Can not understand how some people can keep remarriages one after another.

Maybe thay figure that thay will eventually get it right; the law of averages.

I look upon it as a spectator sport, from a sufficient distance.

@OmSigDAVID,
Oh, hell yes. After three or four marriages, you can consider yourself an expert.

@roger,
I acquired enuf expertise by hearing the screams of domestic strife
among naboring family members, husbands to wives or
screaming with children over complaints or plans. Maybe too much expertise.

@roger,
In Las Vegas, the Golden Nugget, it sounded like Hubby next door
was throwing wifey against the walls while he complained
of some of her recent investment decisions.

@OmSigDAVID,
I take it her investment advisor was commonly called a bookie.
