how can I preserve of Anammox bacteria?

I´m looking for a cheap method to preserve (Anaerobic Ammonium Oxidising bacteria ) anammox bacteria for atleast 6 months. . I have searched and the only methods I have found so far (lyophylisation, cropreservation and freezing) are way too expensive for my purpose. do other methods other than these exist? please I will be grateful for your help. thanks
