How to clear up more space in my Hard Drive?

On my 2nd hard drive, I store all my music, videos, and movies file. when I highlight them all they add up to 273GB, but when I click on Property of that HD it say 385GB/390GB 5GB of free space remain. My files only take up 273GB. How to clear up more space in my Hard Drive?

It is so tempting to tell you to use that disc compression option pictured, but I really don't know what you would be getting into. Clearly, it is getting critical.
