Every discourse has its pendant, some less pedant than others.

Anyway, it's a joyful exercise of language.

Thanks for posting.

@Lustig Andrei,
A sort of homecoming/class reunion for all the A2K pedants, Merry. You should run for queen.

Shall we go thru the Pet Peeves of English thread to see who else we should invite, Andrei?

@roger,
You're a dynamite language pedant, Roger the artful dodger, and we hope you do well in your new role as resident art arbitrator, but you are a terrible liar. Not that you aren't prolific enough, you just do it badly.

@Ceili,
that's truly a gift of language and writing skills. thanks for sharing. Oddly the video of typography goes in a different direction. I had to first listen all the way through and then re-watch it with video clip.

You obviously have the Hungarian version.

Is Stephen Fry well known over there acrorst the pond?

Here he is with his old mate, Hugh Laurie ( of 'House' fame ).....

I've seen it. I was aware of the programmes Stephen Fry made for BBC Radio 4 on this topic, and have heard many of them. He's very good, isn't he? A bit too wordy and self-indulgent on QI (TV programme) but he is widely liked and admired. My friends like him.
