Can anyone help me to identify the artist of a 70s surrealist poster that I once owned?
I don't know the name of the artist or the original painting, so I will describe it as best I can. It was very much in the style of Rene Magritte, Dominique Appia.
The colour painting depicts a leafy conservatory garden framed by old leather bound books on all sides. There was a white wrought iron table and chairs in the garden and a black & white tiled floor.
It's as if you're looking through an old library, take out some books and see into a secret garden.
I've attached a rough sketch of what I remember it looking like:

I hope someone can help and thank you for any assistance!
