Unfortunately on A2K the political threads sway our opinions of the posters.
I personally despise you and Oralloy's political posts but I enjoy your knowledge in other areas.
That being said...

In my home, where music was constantly playing, Missa Luba was much loved.
It was the original Missa

Also, and maybe more so, Misa Creolla from the pen of Ariel Ramirez, an Argentine musicologist who studied the folk music of the gauchos and tango masters and used the instrument of the Andes to write this powerful mass.
Ramirez got a special dispensation from the Pope to have the lyrics be sung in Spanish and not Latin.

Although I'm basically an atheist, music like this tends to shake my non-belief.
