I have recently set up my own business online and do alot of advertising on facebook. Recently someone wanted me to buy their dress and i declined. she then created a fake chat log between me and her claiming i had sold her a ripped dress and would not accept a return. She also threatened to report me to police for posting the fake chat she had made onto a group. I have saved some documents however my account was closed and deleted. I have contacted facebook to no avail. Is it worth taking this further?

Take it as far as possible. A challenge to your character and integrity is never what you would call 'small stuff'.

Most attorneys who would take a case like yours (you're looking for a liability lawyer) won't charge for an initial consultation. Get all your ducks together (that means printing out whatever you've got that substantiates your claims) and go and ask.
