i have just been presented with (what i think is a) windows 98 problem and i don't have any idea how to solve it.

when i boot up i get a message as follows:
the dialog box is
Registry Editor
and the message says:
cannot import sys.reg:
error opening the file. There may be a disk or file system error

i press on OK and everything seems ok

any suggestions?

Thank you

Partner, you been hijacked. "sys.reg" is not a legitimate Windows item. That error message is a classic symptom of yuckware infestation. See THIS TOPIC
