Well, what do you wear when you are drunk?

The opposite would be sober top wear.

Well, it would be OK if one was also wearing sober trousers, but what if I chose to wear my drunken trousers, as I usually do on a weekday during winter months?

There are many reasons for not wearing pants. I guess large vaporous spills could be among them.

Meantime, how do I clean a bit of rum from my toe nail? Some sot whirled rum at me. I will have to go to the dictionary to be able to respond in kind.
