How to stop being plagiarized?

Back in past, some people I knew very well as my friends. I have been writing for 6 years now. Writing does mean it literally. But they started plagiarizing my writings, my thoughts and ideas. There are so many things I lost the possession of, because the things I wrote were confined to my own diary. Or some of them were sent to my friends as a text message. But some of they (my friends who are actually not friends!) the meandering and creepy cockraoches forwarded the texts claiming the writing with their own names. This morning, I was roaming over the internet, and bumped into a post (that can be found here: http://able2know.org/topic/184915-1), it was my writing, and fortunately I had posted the same piece of writing a year back at facebook. The one who posted was the person I once treated as my friend. I warned him time and time again to refrain from plagiarizing but he always took my shouts for granted.
The question is:
How can one stop plagiarizing?
How should I convince him to keep from doing so?

Any suggestions pertaining the topic will be appreciated.
Thanks.

@Myopic,
Why are you bothered ? Is there a commercial angle to this ?
If anybody considered my posts (including poetry) worth plagiaraizing I would be flattered.
Isn't "the self" an endless object of interest ! Wink

@Myopic,
My guess is that there was no plagiarizing done. In fact, I can't see why anyone would want to plagiarize that bit of "poetry"; like most Internet poetry...it is pedestrian.

And you seem to have stopped by just in time to "catch" the plagiarizer.

Any chance you wrote it...wanted to share it...and are using this "plagiarizing" bit as a way to get it some publicity?

Nothing wrong with that, mind you. I'm just wondering.

(And like Fresco, if anyone ever wants to "plagiarize" anything I've written here...by all means do so. I would be honored.)

@Myopic,
You could try adding " Copyright Myoptic 2014" after your work, but don't count on that protecting your works. Thoughts and ideas can't be protected, but your poetry or written manuscripts can be noted as copyrighted.

@Myopic,
If you're a writer, the thing you should be most concerned about is that the post was voted down, and nobody bothered commenting on it until you came along 22 months later.
