@farmerman,
Nebraska is really funny in a low key way. I hope that Bruce Dern gets an Oscar nom.

@tsarstepan,
I want to put in a vote for Warm Bodies as one of the most unexpected enjoyable films I've seen this year.

@jabeen100,
I'm guessing that English isn't your forte as none of these movies were theatrically released in 2013. Anywho, welcome to a2k Jabeen. Good to see another cinephile on our beloved a2k server. Smile

@tsarstepan,
I forgot to put in the Simon Pegg/Edgar Wright movie, The World's End (2013). Mad

And Philomena is definitely ending in my top ten list as well.

@tsarstepan,
I recalculated and turns out I went to the movies 35 times this year. A new personal record. Will be seeing Anchorman 2 tomorrow night.

Favorite: "Star Trek Into Darkness"
Least favorite: "Man of Steel." The writing sucked. It was a travesty of a superman movie.

This year's total is 37 with my final movie of the year: Wolf of Wall Street.

Just have to figure where Wolf of Wall Street and Philomena fit on the grand scale of my best of 2013 list.

@tsarstepan,
HOW COULD I FORGET.

THE LONE RANGER

On the whole, it wasn't as bad as I first gave it, but I till wouldn't put it in the top movies of the year. The thing I hated most about it was how they BUTCHERED the WILLIAM TELL OVERTURE to fit the allotted time . They stretched the secondary theme and a refrain by making these horrible loops , so the damn thing sounded like some CGI track accompaniment.

@izzythepush,
Izzie? That's likely to be nominated for a few Razzie awards.

Farmer? I didn't notice the Lone Ranger score. Too much CGI was exploding on the screen making a lot of everything else white noise.

Well, the Award season has kicked into full gear last night. I missed out on the first 45 minutes of the Golden Globes when Aereo had an outage in NYC area. Praise be Aereo! Rolling Eyes
