New York Rangers vs. Chicago Blackhawks in the Stanley Cup Finals? Hmm. Wouldn't that be interesting? It would be their first playoff meeting since 1973. We just need to get past the Montreal Canadiens first and Chicago needs to beat whoever wins between LA and Anaheim. Of course, if this does happen, regardless of who wins the Stanley Cup, the championship parade would probably be during my week in Las Vegas anyway. So technically EDC could be a Stanley Cup celebration, hmm

It sure looks to me like Crosby got some head problems. Pens as a team have problems but I'd take Toews over Crosby, personally.

Shero got the axe for the Pens but Dan B stayed. I think Crosby is the problem but they can't fire him.

Cris Kreider , vilified by Habs fans is picking the Rangers team up.
Screening the goalie, assisting Nash and generally spinning around the rink.

Oh, and then there's Hendrik.

Not team can possibly replace the caliber of goalie such as Price...especially in the playoffs. Price was not just good - he was all-time good! Buh-bye Habs!

Seems to me...
The hockey last night was pretty bad. Very little of the first period was five-on-five.
The Rangers must have been off-sides 30 times and they kept taking stupid penalties.
The Habs kid in goal played well but Lundy might be one of the best goalies of all time.
Crawford and Quick are pretty average until the playoffs when they shine, but the Kings and Hawks have some forwards that are going to crush whoever comes out of the East.
The West finals are the Stanley Cup finals as far as I'm concerned.

I don't get what's happened to the Hawks.
Last night they seem confused and kept making turnovers.

The Hawks have been playing very sloppy hockey in this series since the second period of game two. They dodged a bullet in game 5, but they need to pick up their game in LA or else it's back to the golf links this weekend for the boys in red and black.

Sloppy is the operative word.
If they can rise to the occasion in L.A. I feel they can make the finals.
Crawford has to gird his loins for that one.
