When I opened my yahoo email and tried to place a reminder in the calendar option I got a page that said I had to download a program that includes a yahoo toolbar (that I don't want) in order to be able to continue to use the calendar feature. I don't want to download any yahoo programs to my computer. Is there any online calendar service that will send me email reminders to my yahoo mail? It seems that every time I go online there's some insidious new wrinkle!

You should be able uncheck the option for the toolbar.
I stopped using Yahoo Calender when they ended their text reminder feature.
I use Google Calender now.

Thank you. I still use yahoo mail and would like reminders to be sent to it. Don't suppose google would do that...or would they?

Reminders are sent to your gmail address, but you can send reminders to a guest email and use your yahoo email address.
