Actually, we serve our tuna raw, sliced about a quarter inch thick, and served with wasabe and soy sauce. There's plenty of other food-stuff to eat with the raw fish, but most of us eat it with some rice. c.i.
When my sister makes raw fish, Mexican-style, Cerviche, she "cooks" the fish in lime juice. Does the wasabe & soy sauce do that?
Maybe a wee bit. Some fancy restaurants now "sear" the fish with the inside still raw. c.i.
Ah. The Cerviche wasn't near any source of heat!
Well, your meal sounds wonderful. Yum, yum, yum.
