Frank, I kept thinking about this what you wrote. I am determined to isolate the differences between comunism and progresivism.

I am not into this "ism" stuff...and labeling can be a chancy thing at best, Andy.

When I use the term "progressive agenda"...I am using it to refer to what I think to be a political and social structure that allows for two things that seem to be anathema to American conservatives...namely, the utility and value of government and concern for the well being of those who are less able to compete in the kind of economic system that is capitalism.

I'm not nuts about communism or socialism...but I do not consider them to be the kinds of failures you see them to be. And while I am a capitalist...I do not consider capitalism to be the kind of huge success most see it to be.

Capitalism can go ape...and become a blight. It seem very likely to me that American capitalism is heading in that direction. The most obvious manifestation is the wealth and income disparity that appears to be widening to the point of bursting the bubble, so to speak.

There is no reason whatsoever for anyone in the United States to be in want...to be poor. It matters not how much any individual contributes to the general wealth...no one should be without adequate food, clothing, shelter, education, communication, transportation, medical availability and entertainment.

NOBODY!

By now we should have devised a way for the distribution of great wealth to the point where NOBODY on this planet should be without an adequate amount of those things.

What I want is a system that manages the distribution of stuff to the point where that becomes a reality. At that point...I do not care how much the doers accumulate for themselves.

If capitalism cannot do that...I want to try some other "ism."

Befhy, the interpretation of facts by you guys is questionable.

Our interpretation is questionable?

This is what the law actually says
Quote:
Offenses involving actual or perceived religion,
national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity,
or disability.--

Your interpretation is that it grants gays special rights no one else has.

My interpretation is that the words mean just what they say. They grant rights to everyone since no one is without gender, national origin, sexual identity, or religion or lack of religion.

So we are comparing the facts of what the words actually say to your interpretation which goes against the facts. Not only is your interpretation questionable, your interpretation goes directly against the facts.

@ehBeth,
I will agree to Churches paying taxes when industry and the very rich pay the 35% they are supposed to pay but dont because they OWN both houses of congress and the Supreme Court.

@ehBeth,
If Obama and his gang will let wet-backs and illegals to vote, than nothing else matters anyways - the gloves are off.

@andy31,
I guess you have decided to make other idiotic statements that aren't supported by facts. You really should stop making yourself look so stupid but I will give you a chance since you were never able to find a single right that gays have that you don't. Therefor give us some real evidence that illegals have voted. I would suggest that once you provide us with that evidence then you can provide evidence that Obama let them vote but you probably won't even be able to provide evidence of illegals voting.

@parados,
Parados, how quick you forget about the illegal immigrants who were voting in FL. They only admitted to it after they were called for jury duty. You know illegals vote, we just don't really know the #.

@Baldimo,
Baldimo, I'm telling you, that is like arguing with retardo's. They will say that you are the one who is stupid. Watch him saying that the website you brought up is a far right wing propaganda. Nothing you can say or evidence you show them will ever sink through. It is like many are saying, you can't argue or reason with leftiests, we just have to defeat them.

@Baldimo,
I see no evidence there of any illegal voting other than self reporting which is suspect. The only study that has been done makes a very clear statement that you can't rely on such evidence since simple reporting errors can cause it.

@Baldimo,
I absolutely LOVE your motto:
WORK HARDER, MILLIONS ON WALFARE DEPAND ON YOU.

Well... I'm still a working men, and my blood is boiling, trust me on this one!!! Especially when I'm in a grocery store, in line, watching how 8 out of 10 people paying with their food stamps card (called here lone star card), than that fat mama stuffing $200 worth food in the back of her new Escalate with 32" custom wheels, and tv screan in the back of every sit.
Than I'm going home and writing my quarterly tax payment to the freaking IRS to support those useless eaters.

Next day, I wake up and go to work again to bust my ass, because MILLIONS ON WALFARE DEPAND ON ME!!!!!!!!

@andy31,
If the reporter was correct, then why has the state not enforced the law? Certainly one would think a capable prosecutor would be charging felonies with such obvious evidence. Or is it not quite that obvious? Local news stations often come up with outlandish stories during their local sweeps. The one I recall on my local news is how they spent 2 weeks promoting their upcoming story about how sex offenders could be driving your children's school bus. The final result was they didn't really have any evidence when it was investigated by others but it sure made a great story for sweeps.

But let's assume for the moment that there were 94 non citizens that voted. Now where is your evidence that Obama got them to do it?

@parados,
If you would really read the whole article, you would find your answer there. I'm sure you heard about scandal with Acorn? Don't be fooled. The fact they were defunded does not mean they sized to exist. Name just changed. In fact there is bunch of organizations like that serving as a "hunt dog" for the left.

@parados,
We have had this debate before Parados. It came about due to you claiming that it wasn't happening in FL. You then went on one of your BS claims that no one would dare to register to vote as an illegal because they have to pledge to be honest on the reg card and sign it. Your claim was that they wouldn't dare break the law. Did you really forget this or are you being willfully ignorant on the subject?

@parados,
Taking into consideration that thanks to Obama's failed immigration policy, or ratheor his success (I believe he well planned that), demographic will drastically change in this country, we are going to be dumn down socialistic nation, eventually becoming like Brazil, 3rd world - no exaggeration.

@parados,
A reference to the original story and it's reporting:

http://www.nbc-2.com/story/16662854/2012/02/02/nbc2-investigates-voter-fraud

Illegal immigrant admits to voting in elections but then when called for jury selection she admitted to being an illegal immigrant and wanted out of jury duty because of it. They found about 100 people in just one FL country.
