What's the chance of Ted Cruz becoming president?

That's a good one! I believe the overall intelligence of Americans is sliding further into moron. When they vote for people who would harm not only Americans but people all over the world, I doubt there's any "intelligence" left to be scored.

That is not the stand his supporters was taking when it came to Obama and I find that highly amusing to say the least.

But keep in mind, they are great football fans.

The GOP is so confused, they hate all women, minorities, homosexuals, and seniors. How they plan to win any election is not even a question, because we have like-minded idiots in this country that doesn't understand conflicts of ideas. Obama = Kenyan (born in Hawaii), Cruz = American Idiot.

The cons also hate the 47 percent, who are mostly made up of minimum-wage workers, children, disabled, elderly, et al. Unfortunately, particularly in the South, these people often vote for the GOPers.

Hey, I agree that Cruz is the gift that keeps on giving. If he attempts to have another shutdown and people can't get to work and or paid, there will be a bloodbath of the Republicans in the House of Representatives...the American people will rise up en masse in 2014 and vote the suckers out.

One element of Cruz inverted strategy....... he did not take into consideration the pentup anger of the American people.....The Texan forced many Americans to lose a pay check because they could not get to work. The US economy lost 24 billion as a result of the shutdown. Cancer patients waiting for experimental tests were postponed, and the American people were hurt. This buffoon was aiming for a debt default which would have had a global impact and consequences.

Cruz's act was one of defiance and vindictiveness catering to a punitive tea party minority. Let Cruz continue down this path and the Republican Party will be thoroughly split apart. If the GOP went lower in the polls it would not make one iota of a difference because they're still looked at as destructive and set on doing harm to the American people out of sheer meanesss.

Ah c'mon, CI. Let us be fair. It's not right to say the GOP hate "seniors". To "some" within the Republican Party, senior citizens are invisible and if "some" GOP feel anything for seniors it is their "wish they would hurry up and die."
