Little puzzle

Hi everyone heres a little puzzle.

A man was out hunting and after walking all day in the snow he arrived at a cabin, cold and wet. In the cabin he had a pipe, an oil lamp and a woodburning stove. Unfortunately he only had one match, so which item should he light first?


BTW. I post a link to a good puzzle called the crimson room but it was removed straight away. I dont know why.
