Did you manage to find the answer to the clue "Suffuse with bright light"? I have the letters LI?E and wonder whether the answer could possibly be LIFE?

I just have to know what the hell were talking about here. iM THINKING PAINT, THEN no SHES TALKING ABOUT A PUZZLE? MAYBE A CROSSWORD? MAYBE THE GAME IS COLOSSUS?
I just posted in the 'suffused with light' thread but the letter you need is another 'S'. CISSING means 'poor paint adhesion'. I've quoted the dictionary definition in my other post.
Also in that I've asked about the only word I'm stuck on in that issue of Colossus - clue 29d in the Cryptic on p10. "Hedged with the right certificates?" - ?U??I??E?
Can anyone help .... please!?

I am unsure of where in the world you are but this is in lovatts Colossus No 148 closing date 22/04/04 in England so I know I have completed it and sent it off, but cannot recall the answer. Please send me all the letters you have.

The answer is PUISSANCE. I cannot find an alternative spelling so I think your last S is wrong. Check your dictionary. Good Luck.
