I feel weird putting this on here. I just wrote this for my wife, soon to be ex. Something from my heart.
My Lost Love
I am thinking now of my lost love,
That beautiful Robin sent from up above.
Since the time I met her on that December day,
I have loved that woman in every way.
Many things that I have done wrong,
Kind of went on for way too long.
From being selfish to telling lies,
I will regret these things till the day I die.
From mommy and daddy not being together,
The pain inside will be forever.
Our days I will cherish in my mind,
As we leave our past behind.
I wish you best from this day forth,
In your new life after divorce.
Here I start another day,
Counting the ways that we will pay.

By the time I finished reading that.....my heart was racing. I could feel your sincerity and inner pain as you looked back over your life with her.
I wish I had comforting words for you....but I don't know that there are any right now.
I hope that as the new chapter in your life unfolds.....you find the happiness that you so deserve.
