Place of Business question

I have a quick question:

Is it required that someone be at a place of business after business hours, when there are not customers there but the doors are unlocked(not open)? If so is there an age limit for which that person has to be?

Thanks,
Blake

Hi, Blake. Welcome to A2K.

While I don't know what sort of business you're talking about, it seems to me that if the doors are unlocked, the store is open. Even "after hours" someone should be on hand just to prevent pilfering.

Blake: That sounds like something that would be handled by local ordinance (if it is handled at all). You might want to consult your local chamber of commerce to find out if there are any regulations that cover this issue. Also, if your locality has a citizen's ombudsman or some similar type of official, you might want to contact that office.
