What about the heat death of the universe? How could anything survive that? Let's not forget Tipler's Omega Point thing.

@MGSfan,
Yes, but only if I could kill myself if I felt the need or whim.

@MGSfan,
It is difficult to say that I would live forever when I am only beggining to get comfortable with the super natural. They're pretty good so far, yet they seem to spend alot a time gambling. What about rambling, babling, and mumbling?

@MGSfan,
Definitely not...and it really amazes me that most of us don't get why it is a very dangerous contract we are wishing for sadly this is not just the common folk or Religious people...these include well informed people like Ray Kurzweil...the naivety is shocking!

No ill effects is asking too much. But if it could cause none I would certainly opt for it.

@edgarblythe,
Really Ed?
Can you imagine yourself in a billion years?
How about in a quintillion?
Doing what ad nausea that you didn't did before countless times?
Eternity is the closest tangible, intelligible, actual, definition of hell I can think of!

I am absolutely positive that if everybody was indeed immortal the biggest project in the Cosmos would be to find a way to die!

@Albuquerque,
If you will succumb to boredom you don't have to do it. I overcame boredom being autistic - what was called Asperger's - Some could handle it - Others not.

Yes. Is what you are selling, can it be bought on an interest free payment plan?
