What are some of your thoughts on my definitions of YOUR philosophies?

Nihilism: the completely irresponsible man/woman spouting forth utter nonsense.

Hedonism: for every confused filial adult in a city near you.

Agnosticism: 5 steps on how to be totally impractical.

Atheism: the mouth with no sock.

Polytheism: the double bed with no lock or key or burglar bars.

Monotheism: the practical man and woman.

satanism: the one with power at work, who tortures all his/her colleagues... meanwhile they all know how small he feels outside his cubicle

jock-stereotype & feminism: the philosophy of rich scientists (gender equality: only exists in a non-pornographic society)

Christianity: thinking with the brain turned on

witchcraft: archaic ninjas

Unlike some, I don't need to try.

It must be hard to keep your balance when you walk around with a head that swelled.

@Setanta,
It must be hard for you to get your message across, I mean... 73,532 posts... wow. You've got a lot of time on your hands pal.

Oh, and I saw your comment on (all Christians are) "lunatic(s)"...

Sound like a nice guy.... girl... err... dog

All you've got here are a bunch of ill-considered generalizations about what people believe or don't believe. There's nothing clever about any of them, and they're gross oversimplifications. I can see why you resort to personal slurs--you've really got nothing else going for you here. I suspect that you came here looking for a fight, convinced that your gigantic intellect could handle any objection to your silly definitions. I also suspect that no one is going to rise to your bait. Have a nice day, Bubba.

@Frank Apisa,
I'd like to see those steps too, Frank.
Maybe I could help you escape them.

@SolonTheLawmaker,
In my opinion, witticisms are not what makes this forum a place for many. There seems to be, again in my opinion, a culture of hyper seriousness on this forum, for most threads. A few threads may attempt humor; however, the brand of humor is specific to a certain demographic that are regulars, in my opinion.

One might benefit from this forum more as an expedition into the natural habitat of the very serious. Being correct is very important to many posters, again in my opinion.

You might also find a degree of self-rightousness at this forum. Almost to the point of most religions, in my opinion.

Do you know there is no humor in this forum?

If we could only get Foofie to stop saying "in my opinion" at the end of every single sentence he posts, I'd be a lot less irritable, I think.

A very good attempt at humor. At least to most people. I wouldn't be one of them.

Sol seems to have abandoned the thread. Perhaps
Set has scared him away.

Too bad.
I was wondering about his conclusions

Otherwise, one could think that I was trying to "pass off" my opinion as objective fact. Far be it for me to be so self-rightous, in my opinion.

@Foofie,
Would you consider the guts for avoiding a disclaimer in the first sentence ? Because aversion to risk a strong opinion in Philosophy when sometimes "ridding" a strong opinion is needed is one of those things that ensures stagnation...I am not making a case against openness of mind by any means but just saying that jumping of the boat in the first bump is not a good way of making progress either...
