Yes used the fact that the government still have a large ownership stake in the big three to force them to train and hired people living in the borders of Detroit to once more build cars. Oh the same pressure on the supply chain for the big three.

Use the funds being paid off from the big three loans and the selling of government shares in the big three to repair the public infrastructure of the city.

It is remarkable that not all the damage dating back to the 1960s riots had been address.

Oh declare that for ten years or so the city of Detroit is a state free tax zone with no state income taxes or sale taxes apply.

That should get both people and businesses moving back into the city in large numbers.

So, after these people have spent their lives working, and been promised an income to live on in old age, when they are old, and weak, and helpless, make them live in poverty. Nice plan.
