Looking for a short science fiction story about refugees from the future

I am looking for a short science fiction story I read more than ten years ago about a man who once came home and found a
crowd of people streaming out of his bathroom. When the house owner asked them who they were one of them said "Please bear with us. We are refugees from the future"
Could anyone please help to find this story?
