@fooddude1965,
Life is meaning. The alternative, of being dead or part of general non-conscious existence, does not offer up such. That latter absence of empirical and intellectual evidence for anything/everything includes absence of evidence for semantic activity occurring in the "dark".

If a pink unicorn never emerges from that non-conscious void at any point in time to affect what has arisen into conscious life, to be either outright perceived or hinted-at enough via inference / testing, then it remains only speculation. Needless to say, still trying to add a "meaning" to the unconfirmed beast only aids its role in moral tales or entertaining fables. But this is what life is about: Slinging definitions and significances about to stick to both the observed real and the imagined. Even the mouse eats and copulates to perpetuate its kind because the hunger pangs and desires and pleasures are non-linguistic meanings it attaches to the cheese and a raging erection or moistening cavity.

Or, in a nutshell, life is its own justification.

@fooddude1965,
So far I like all three responses

Clearly recent scientific speculation suggests that the constants seem to have been "adjusted" within a fraction of 1 percent in some cases, specifically to permit evolution of higher life forms (assuming we can be included in that class) while the Entire Megillah would seem a random, senseless operation without the humanoid to regard it with awe

@fooddude1965,
According to me, the meaning of life is to see my parents and family happy.
