I do not believe in God...I am a pagan. I don't believe purely because I don't see how God can create rife fear in people and have them living in fear of him all their lives.

I won't argue with anyone that does though, that's not me, I believe in things that I feel I should not have to justify to others..

Everyone to their own...Smile

For me the concepts of God and Nature are almost identical. God isn't something which is imposed on nature, it is the essence of what nature is and what it can become.

To some, the things that science reveals about the structure and history of the world may seem bland and lifeless. But to me it reveals just the opposite, because we *are* completely natural, and yet we *do* think and feel.

We now know that the Universe carries within its very structure the potential for life and thought and consciousness. And this is true, it's not just wishful thinking. The Universe really is this way. And for me, *that* is a far more powerful concept than the standard religions and hopeful dreams of past humanity.

That is a very interesting way of looking at it.

It often surprises me that more people don't think of it this way. It's seems to be an inevitable conclusion from the scientific point of view.

Perhaps the significance of this isn't as compelling to most people as it is to me.

Pssst! Kicky!

Come over heah...

I know it's hard for a good Catholic boy to wonder about God and such...but you gotta look around, and read, and listen, and in the end you gotta decide what's right for you.

Who's god, why does his number come up constantly on my call display, and what the heck does he want with me? More friggin' charity? Screw you! I'm Jewish and not answering the phone.
