Will this help, hinder or not make any difference to his trial?

Offhand, I kind of expect it to pretty much balance out. I have always thought it regretable that guilt and innocence depends so heavily on the makeup of the jury.
I mostly blame or praise jurors decisions based on how the judge conducts the trial. Some judges don't run a taught ship and some have their own agendas. Most juries seem to want to do the right thing.

I thought the same that the makeup of the jury is important to their decision, and that's the reason I wanted to ask the question.
