Confused I recently repaired a hijacking with help from this forum. I now note that a notebook file called "error log files.log" appears on my desktop after each boot. It contains different windows errors. I do not know if I changed anything that would account for this. Any ideas?

Please see this topic, then clarify some basic information like what "Windows errors" are mentioned in the file.

When Java crashes it'll often dump an error log on your desktop, but not with that filename.

Is that the exact name? Unfortunately Google currently finds zero references to any file by the name of 'error log files.log'.
