Where does charity begin? At home or abroad?

That depends, obviously, upon what definition is applied to charity, to "at home" and to abroad. My personal reaction is that charity consists in things small and great, from a simple courtesy extended in situations wherein "good manners" do not necessarily require it, all the way to giving "the last full measure of devotion."

Good question, SP, i hope that this topic will be well explored.

I think charity begins with the individual ... A development of consciousness about the needs of others, then feeling the need to act on that perception.
