For my homework i'm supposed to read the following passage and
1.Identify whether there are one or more causal arguments present or implied,
2.If there are, standardize each one,
3.If premises are missing, insert them,
4.construct a sub-argument of each premise.
For the sentence, According to my biology lab instructor, if you pour an acid on litmus paper, it
will turn the litmus paper red.
Can anyone help me out? im completely confused. Thanks
@hbk00,
You're asking people to do your homework for you... You should ask your teacher if you're confused about it, or clarify what you're confused about so you can get real help
@hbk00,
I find it hard that you don't understand the basic causal inference in that sentence. That is... unfathomable. But your own inability to figure elementary predicate logic aside, listen to the nice gal who posted below you. Ask for clarification from someone who's paid to do so.
But on another note, if he's stuck working with such fine candidates as yourself, well, then I can fully understand your reticence in soliciting help from the man. I'd be skeptical too.
