a balloon has a capacity of 14L of helium with a guage pressure reading of 2700kpa and a temperature of 24c
a) what is volume in litres if cooled to 101.3 kpa and-35c

b)now what if it was warmed back to 24c,what volume in litres then

Suggest you look up Boyle's ideal gas law and then apply numbers.

no prob i understand...for a.....had .31m3 which is 310 ltrs
b....if i remember correct was .22m3 and 220 ltrs... and used 1.66 for y for helium..i didnt put exact decimals,as im just going from memory...i did a test and was wondering if i had done it right....wont know result for a bit..so just wondering..
