If the camera was pointed out into space, stars would show up.
But if there's something else in the picture like the earth or moon which are very bright, the camera aperture closes to stop itself being dazzled, and the stars get dimmed out.
As for the earth spinning at 1000mph, the earth is so big that 1000mph seems slow. Anyway jets can fly faster than 1000mph and they still take hours to cross the Atlantic, so like i said 1000mph is not as fast as it sounds..Smile
