why do some cells in works spreadsheets print numbers as # signs? I have since discovered if a asterisk preceeds a $ sign when a field contains a dollar amount the fields will print properly. Do not know if this will damage other aspects of spreadsheet. Tks Smile

Usually you'll get the "#" sign in place of the numbers if the font displayed number is to large to fit into the physical column space when you print it. Try widening the column and see if it clears up.
