I can't think of any like those two off the top of my head.

You could try The Blue Angel, a German film from 1930, about a teacher who falls from grace.

Also, there's a guy in Dead Poets Society who tells students to tear up their textbooks.

Finally, I guess the schoolmasters in Monty Python's The Meaning of Life are pretty nasty.

I think every movie about good teachers has bad teachers in it. After all, the viewer can't tell how good the good teacher is unless there are some bad examples for the sake of comparison. There was, for instance, a spate of movies in the 1950s (Blackboard Jungle, To Sir With Love) where the solitary, heroic teacher fought a system filled with uncaring adults and delinquent students.

It's a lot harder, though, identifying movies that are about the bad teachers. History Boys is about a teacher who is both good and bad (inspirational educator = good; groping students = bad). I always thought Indiana Jones was a pretty lousy teacher (pilfering archaeological sites isn't consistent with scientific standards). Possibly cinema's worst teacher was Groucho Marx in Horsefeathers:

To Sir With Love was released in 1967.
