Inherited a really old painting from my great-grandmother, need help identifying artist.

She spent her whole life living uptown New Orleans and this painting resembles a New Orleans patio garden so I think it could be a local artist. Any help would be much appreciated, even just helping me read the signature would be incredible. Thanks. Here is a link to photos of painting.
