no more than does animal husbandry and hybridization.

Read yer Darwin. He had a whole section of the "Origin of SPecies" devoted to hybridizing, and a little known cleric was doing work with garden peas in the 1860's that unlocked the whats and hows of basic genetics.

Plant breeding doesn't disprove evolution, but it does disprove the law of gravity.
