Not sure what is happening, Dale. Every once in a while my cookie at Open Salon dies...and I have to sign in again. Under the "sign in" there is a "join" button.

I wouldn't want them to think I was touting a competitor on this site. I know they sometimes delete links to other sites. That is not my intention here. Just wanted them to know.

A forum moderator or Administrator reads our mail and tut tuts or even bans us for deviation of various sorts. On other sites of this kind he is everywhere at all times, fierce and unbending, quick to react to even the slightest breach of decorum

Not here. I'm wondering whether the forums have some sort of mutual agreement where those from which one has been banned send notice to others who then upon detecting his identity remove the latter button

Still trying to figure out how to get anyone enrolled in the site.

They were having a huge problem with SPAM...thousands each day...all with new accounts. The solution apparently was to temporarily suspend all new memberships.

If I find anything out, I'll get in touch.
