A brief survey on movie theater attendance: 2012 edition

Not kidding Tsar; hope my response of some value to your quest

The two most recent trips to the movies were to see:

Zero Dark Thirty and Lincoln.

I think both were way, way, way above average for the other films I have seen in theaters during the last couple of years.

Nancy and I just got back into the habit of seeing movies in theaters rather than waiting to see them on TV.

I have problems sitting through an entire movie without having to take a whizz break...and have used the site that designates good moments to go.

1I hate CGI films that substitute gimmickry for a good story

2Dont ask me about 3D. I saw Avatar 3D and got sick in the theater. (My explosion remnants left me with a really sensitive mid-ear condition)
I can take me driving on the open sea but I cannot sit in a boat that someone else is driving, so 3D is not my idea of entertainment.
