I couldnĀ“t get rid of mysearchnow searchwindow.
It appears to be caused by a program called aceclock
It was obviously installed during the visist of an obscure site.
Search your computer for aceclock.exe or knob.exe and remove that folder.

I didn't find that file, but thank you for drawing that to our attention.

I think it's fair to say everyone should clean off their aceclocks and knobs more often.

why would you want to delete these wonderful utilities that sneek onto your pc, i love pop ups theres nothing like typing in an address bar but the cursor is no longer there because theres some exciting information on registry cleaners or ........ pop up protectors. If I found the person responsible for these pop ups I'd put my fingers inside his mouth and rips his cheeks in half.

Spyware
Many kinds of Spywares do display this seach mysearchnow for every website you hit and anny you a lot

I faced the similar problem a month back,

Solution: Spybot Search & Destroy 1.4

This reliable and free spyware removal tool found few spywares on my pc and removed their executables and registry entries when scanned..... Then onwards its working fine.

another powerful spyware removal is McAfee .... But its very strict ... it doesn't even allow you to run cracks or download them.

Spyware S&D only remove spywares from ur PC when scheduled scanned.
