Can I create a page for a brand from a company account?

There seem to be all kinds of horror stories about personal/business accounts and multiple accounts etc. I haven't used FB before, but I would like to create a page for my company. The company also controls various brands and I would like to have a separate page for each of these. I also don't want this to be in any way tied to a personal account. How do I go about setting all this up? I know this is a potentially complex question but even a link to some kind of explanation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
