I just recently got an Asus G73JH gaming laptop that I'm planning on testing with the help of my friend. Any ideas on what PC video games girls like to play so can I install it and have her play it?

Yep. Unless these hypothetical girls are in elementary school as they subsist solely on Barbie doll related games, they'll basically be playing any games that most boys are playing.

To the OP:
What kind of movies does she watch? Does she like action or horror movies? Does she watch a lot of sports on the television? Does she read a lot of fantasy or science fiction novels? Etc.... Get the games that parallel these answers.

Let me recommend Portal and Portal 2. Great fun with a great sense of humor to boot.
