Calvin drives a small cart horizontally with speed V over the surface of an unknown planet with gravitational constant g=2m/s^2. He drives over the edge of a crater whose plane wall slopes downwards at 45 degrees. He is in free fall except for one perfectly elastic collision with the frictionless wall. He finally lands at the bottom of the slope. Calculate his initial speed V. Please provide full solution.
