@wonder91,
I have feared for your life all this time, and if your team is now paying attention to you and for you, I'm glad. It has sounded like they have not been, at all. I am astounded by the delay but I suppose they are very busy, and don't have the power to just intervene or maybe they do and I have misjudged.

I have hardly not believed what you have kept saying and they seem not to have acted.

@wonder91,
Have patience with them - they might not yet realise how much you have improved. You know, and we know, that you're doing really well, but they are probably still concerned that it might be a bit early to let you take control of your meds? Don't let it stress you out - you are a brave young lady, and things WILL get better. Early days.

You are right and i am slowly starting to accept it and let it be ,they are starting to give me encourgement and positive feedback, and my nurse i thonk it was her idea didnt put my meds iinto container from pill bottles in front of me so she just had the only meds i needed and transfered them to my box from that .

they also added a peerspecialist to my team without telling me but when i asked why they had added her they say for extra support, whats a peer specialist?
And why they did they decided i needed the extra support?

@wonder91,
The word 'peer' means somebody who's the same as you, so in your case a "peer specialist" is somebody who's either got the same symptoms as you, or has had them in the past and can therefore give you advice..Smile

@wonder91,
Extra support is often needed when someone is doing really well and showing a definite improvement. Once you've reached your current stage - where you've showed lots of encouraging signs that you are helping yourself to get better - they want to be there for you as much as possible. They know the battle you've had, and how you are winning it, and want to try to ensure that you don't get discouraged.

It's like giving you extra tutors in school if you do well - they are so pleased with your progress that they'll do even more to help you.

@wonder91,
Ah, bless - I hope you are okay now. Falling can give you can awful fright it it is totally unexpected like that. Perhaps your blood sugars were very low, due to not eating earlier? It sometimes happens to me. Or new medication - that can put you off-balance until it kicks in properly.

Do let a member of your team know if it happens again - probably just a simple explanation, but it pays to be careful. I hope your knees aren't too sore?

Thanks I am ok but all over stiff and pain an sore apparently im must of strained my whole body except my head besides the knees being injured its always worst at night i dont know why.

I need to build the little bit of strentgh i had in legs and hopefully the injuries an soreness an all heal its terrible when im not able to take pain killer or do heat pad for awhile sigh .i do hypoglycemia an it possibly could of been because of low blood suger .i am rembering i was craving salty /carbs im not sure why .it was only my body craving that i just was aware of it .

What helps heal faster,? And soothe till everything fully healed?

@wonder91,
Everything always seems worse at night! But we get through it - somehow Laughing

I'm not sure what you can buy in American pharmacies, but in England we often use Arnica gel to reduce pain and swelling of bruises. It does help. Pain killers aren't always a good idea if you are on other meds - best to try and stick it out - warm baths can help stiffness where you've jolted your body so badly - perhaps some sort of muscle relaxant bath foam too?

Your bones might be a bit weak from lack of proper nutrition for so long. I'm no medical expert, but I had to strengthen up the bones in my legs - they were really weak - and I started taking a capsule with Glucosamine, Chondroitin and MSM in it - really has helped, but it's a long-term thing - no magically quick results. Someone on your team might be able to advise you if this, or something similar, would be helpful to you too.

Take care - you're being very brave and coping so well. Sorry you are so sore.

@wonder91,
Poor you! I sympathise with you about your peer specialist - but be patient with her, she may not realise she has such an irritating habit! Try to ignore it, if you can, and bear with her, she might be a great help to you once you get to know her better.
