My grandmother has Alzheimers, she is on pills right now that will slow the process of her losing her memory. There is no cure so far (I dont think...)

If you go to the BBC website, you'll find a very good search engine:

Type in Alzheimers in the "search" area, and you'll retrieve a number of articles. I can't find the exact one you asked for, but I haven't checked them all.

Most of them are speculating on what causes it, and some new research - but it's a good place to start.
