ferric chloride mixed in water

made a solution of 80%ferric chloride and water and want to intoduce small pieces of eletroplated material. I think this should strip the electro off of the material much as CBX stripping powder did.

it siaaocites nicely. I used to etch my copper or zinc plates using Ferric Chloride. The neat thing about it was that, since the acid formed on dissociation is mild, it doesnt cause violent reaction with the scribed metal leaving all sorts of H2 bubbles on the etch marks

It not going to strip electro of actually but it should gone be ad some extra power on it which make difference itself...
